By connecting the electricity meter to the home circuit circuit, the current size of the home circuit is collected in real time, and the collected data and information is transmitted to the charging wallbox remotely through RS-485 communication. The charging wallbox adjusts the current in real time by comparing the collected data with the rated current size of the home circuit set by the user.

Since the charging wallbox has a 4.3 Inch touch screen on our Advanced station, the total power consumption can be set on the screen.

Compatibility and durability on EV cables

Prerequisites for the normal operation of

load balancing

1) RS485

The main power meter is compatible with 485 communication mode. Any meter installed in the home must be capable of supporting the RS-485 interface. And please make sure that 485 communication has been correctly and reliably connected.
2) Meter

The main power meter is compatible with the MODBUS-RTU protocol for measuring line power. And the charging wallbox is not in the same circuit with the electricity meter, and the electricity meter is in the same circuit with other household appliances.
3) Wallbox

Electric vehicles meet the latest standards and can dynamically adjust the charging current based on the charging station protocol. When the charging station requests an adjustment, the electric vehicle must be capable of reducing the current as needed.
4) Operation

The wallbox can monitor the home's real-time grid load and ensure that all household appliances function normally. It can safely provide the fastest charging speed and automatically adjust the charging power based on the load.

Set the rated current at house

When you need to write or update the rated current family size, firstly please get into the touchable display, after being prompt please use the charging RFID card to accredit, according to the requirements set up complete card operation into the state; At this point, please press the “-” point to reduce 1A, otherwise press the “+” point to increase 1A; the range of the setting is 20A~ 99A, after completing the adjustment, if no operation is performed, it will automatically save the rated current value of the home and exit the setting state.
